At Authentic Canine, we’re committed to providing a positive and fear-free experience for every dog in our care. No two dogs are alike, so we offer a variety of customizable options for our dog walks and enrichment visits. From choosing the route and pace to incorporating your dog’s favorite activities and training exercises, we work with you to create a walk that meets your dog’s individual needs.

Solo walks are a great option for dogs who are nervous, reactive, injured or have physical limitations, or who simply prefer the company of humans over canines.

As a Fear Free certified and BCSPCA AnimalKind accredited business, we prioritize your dog’s well-being and happiness above all else, exclusively using positive reinforcement techniques. Each walk and enrichment visit is designed to be a joyful and stress-free experience, tailored to your dog’s unique needs and preferences. 

OUR PROCESS

At Authentic Canine, we take the safety and well-being of your dog seriously. That’s why each dog is assessed by our team of experienced trainers before their first walk. This assessment allows us to understand your dog’s behavior, temperament, exercise & enrichment needs, and any special requirements they may have.

All our dog walkers are either certified trainers, or undergo thorough training conducted by our certified trainers. This ensures that every member of our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to handle any situation that may arise during their visit with your dog.
