PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

Puppies remain in a sensitive socialization period up until 18 weeks of age. Start your puppy off on the right paw during those impressionable early weeks in this class that includes socialization, solutions to common puppy problems and an introduction to basic life skills to help your puppy grow up to be a manageable, confident and happy dog. This fun and interactive class helps strengthen the bond between you and your new puppy!

4 weeks of class, 50-60 mins each. Maximum 4 puppies per class.

BASIC LIFE SKILLS

Whether you have a puppy who is through their socialization window and ready to learn some manners, a newly adopted rescue needing to learn the ropes, or an adult dog who could simply use a refresher on basic manners, this beginners class is for you! We focus on foundation life skills to help dogs learn to be polite and enjoyable pets while providing a fun and positive bonding experience for you and your dog!

8 weeks of class, 50-60 mins each

ADVANCED INDOOR SKILLS

Puppy adolescence getting to you? Are you crossing your fingers that the elusive “maturity” will hit your adult dog sometime soon? In our Advanced Indoor Skills class you’ll learn skills and tools to help your dog develop and maintain home manners as well as some essential skills for indoor and outdoor environments. This class also has a food enrichment component to help provide your dog with more mental stimulation! You will be provided with homework to continue to build skills between classes. We will be expanding on the skills your dog already knows, making this a next-level-up class for those who have completed the Basic Life Skills class (or equivalent).

ADVANCED OUTDOOR SKILLS

Does your dog listen great at home in a calm environment but seem to forget or ignore everything as soon as they get outside in the real world or when something more interesting comes along? This class takes your dog’s skills out in the real world where things can come up on the fly. Our interactive outdoor advanced class meets in a different location each week within the Westshore area and focuses on maintaining polite manners in any situation.

6 weeks of class, 50-60 mins each

GAMIFY YOUR WALKS

4 weeks of class, 50 mins each

LEASH LUNGERS

(Reactive Dog Class)

Reactive dog classes have become widely available and can be very helpful! However, you must make sure the class is right for your dog.

A dog who is displaying aggressive or fearful behaviour towards other dogs needs positive, safe & happy experiences with other dogs, so a class should be relaxed & enjoyable for both of you.

Our ‘Leash Lungers’ class teaches you how to stop your dog from lunging and barking, walk nicely on a leash, and pay attention to you, even around distractions. As a handler, you will also learn to read your dog’s body language, understand stress and how it impacts your dog and become a more confident handler.

8 weeks of class, 1 hour each
