Overwhelmed by the daunting task of raising your new puppy? Want to give your puppy the best start to grow into a manageable, confident and happy dog? Drop your puppy off with our experienced, accredited trainers to take on the heavy lifting with socialization, introduction to foundational training and proactive management of common puppy challenges.
During the early stages of their lives, puppies have a short window where they are highly impressionable. They have a remarkable ability to absorb and learn from various situations and experiences at a much faster rate than they would in later stages of life. Once this critical period ends, it becomes more challenging. Socialization done in a safe & controlled manner can help to ensure that your puppy builds a positive association with novelty and experiences in their day to day lives. Combine this with foundational training at this young age and you can set your puppy up for a lasting love of learning and exploring!
Puppies remain in a sensitive socialization period up until about 18 weeks of age. Start your puppy off on the right paw during those impressionable early weeks in our day camp option that includes a variety of socialization, prevention of common puppy problems and an introduction to basic life skills to help your puppy grow up to be a manageable, confident and happy dog. In Puppy Training Camp our trainers will start a positive foundation for your puppy to continue to build on as they grow! We strive to create a safe atmosphere where puppies are allowed to warm up at their own pace to help them become happy, confident dogs!
Puppy socialization must be done in a safe & controlled manner to ensure that each puppy is building a long-lasting positive association.

Grooming, Vet and Body Handling Skills

– Two 30-Minute Owner Transfer of Skills Sessions
We strive to create a safe atmosphere where puppies are allowed to warm up at their own pace to help them become happy, confident dogs!
The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviour (AVSAB) recommends socializing puppies before their second set of vaccinations. They suggest that the benefits of early socialization strongly outweigh the risks of contracting an illness before their second set of shots. REQUIREMENTS:

Age 8 weeks to 18 weeks

Puppy has been home with you at least 7 days (to allow time to acclimate to their new family)

Puppies must be comfortable with strangers in their home (we will help with this transition!)

Up-to-date vaccination records required for field trips

These camps are In-Home Day-Training style sessions.
6 hours of day training
(Four 1.5-hr day training sessions, including two 30-min transfer sessions)
(Transfer sessions are typically in the last 30 minutes of the second session and the final session, but this schedule can be customized based on preferences.)
$560 + GST
Once you purchase your puppy training camp, you’ll receive an email to schedule your camp sessions.
An ideal schedule is 1-2 sessions per week.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
All training camps are non-refundable. Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hrs prior to the appointment time. For cancellations within the allotted time frame, a credit will be issued to you on file.
