Our one-on-one sessions provide the opportunity for us to create a customized training plan to help you reach your desired training goals with your dog. First, we’ll set up an initial consultation to gather all relevant information, provide instant management strategies, discuss plans and goals to move forward, and determine whether Private Training or Day Training is best suited to reach our goals.
Day Training
Day Training takes the hard work out of training your dog. If you find the training process overwhelming, have too busy of a schedule or you simply appreciate the convenience of leaving the heavy lifting to a certified, reward-based professional, this is the option for you! Drop your dog off for their individualized training lessons and then simply attend a transfer session with your dog to see their newly acquired skills and to learn how to maintain their new behaviours at home. Check out our specialized day training programs for basic manners: Puppy Day Training (under 18 weeks), Teen Day Training (5-24 months, and Back to Basics Day Training (24 months & beyond).
Private Training
Private Training is a more hands-on, traditional choice which involves attending all training sessions with your dog. Owners get the benefit of more time spent with their trainer to ask questions and perfect their handling techniques, and requires more practice at home and between sessions for optimal training results. Private training is best suited for people who want skills to practice at home right away, or for dogs who are not comfortable being alone with new people.
During the initial consultation we can discuss both Private and Day training and determine the best choice for you and your dog.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
All training sessions are non-refundable. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to your booking (exceptions will be made for emergencies). A credit will be issued for the full amount for approved cancellations.

Puppy Socialization & Manners
Socializing your puppy and maximizing their positive experiences during their most impressionable stage of life. Customize your goals or let us give your puppy the full socialization experience!

Grooming and Vet Cooperative Care
Whether your dog has a pre-existing fear toward vet or grooming procedures or you want to pro-actively provide your dog with a strong foundation to cooperative care, we can help! Fear is easy to install and difficult to reverse, so expect that a dog with a pre-installed fear may take more time to overcome those fears. We help dogs develop a positive response using proven counter-conditioning and desensitization methods.
Cooperative care may be installed for body handling, nail trimming, brushing, bathing, blow drying, clipping, ear cleaning/drops, eye drops, muzzling and more. Let us know your specific concerns and prevention goals.
Behaviour Modification
Does your dog display fear, anxiety, reactivity or aggression? We use evidence-based desensitization and counter-conditioning to help change your dog’s negative response to triggers into a happier, more relaxed response.
Behaviours may include leash reactivity, resource guarding from humans, fear or aggression toward people or dogs, and body handling. If you don’t see your dog’s behaviour issue listed, contact us to find out if we can help!

Private training sessions and consultations are 45 minutes. 5% GST will be added to all packages.
Training Consultation $120
A 45-minute introductory session to gather a comprehensive history of your dog’s behaviour, answer your questions, discuss and create training goals for your dog, implement immediate management strategies as needed, and in some cases, begin training.
In-Home consultations are available for residents of Langford, Colwood, View Royal, & Metchosin.
Virtual consultations available for dogs aggressive or reactive toward house guests, or those residing outside our current service areas.
